Bibly L. Macaya, MD, FPCS

Dr. Bibly Lastimoso Macaya is the longest serving president of Adventist Medical Center and College Manila, Inc. since the year 2000.

Academic history reveals that he was a university scholar during his undergraduate years and finished AB-Premed as Cum Laude at the Southwestern University in 1975. He finished Doctor of Medicine in the same school in 1979 and Medical Internship at Manila Sanitarium and Hospital (MSH) in 1980. He completed his residency training program in surgery at MSH. And was able finished his training in Urology at National Kidney Transplant Institute of the Philippines and graduated his Master in Business Administration with flying colors at the Adventist University of the Philippines (AUP).

Today, he is a fellow member of the Philippine College of Surgeons, Philippine Urological Association, and the Philippine College of Hospital Administrators.

At present, he is one of the graduates of Complete Health Improvement Program in the Philippines and he advocated healthy lifestyle in his professional practice. He supported the organization of the Philippine College of Lifestyle Medicine and Asian Society of Lifestyle Medicine. Moreover, he is a faculty member of the AUP-College of Medicine at Silang, Cavite - the first college of medicine in the Philippines that integrated lifestyle medicine in its curriculum.
